I have to confess that I'm a cold-natured person, and I'm extremely happy that this winter knitwear is one of the hottest fashion trends. We can find knitted garments in all stores, they are available in all shapes and colors. Knitwear is a must, and I'm not talking about garments only. We have also joined this trend and made some "knitted" pendants and brooches, they are made out of polymer clay FIMO, but they look like as if they were made out of wool.

Christmas is getting closer and closer, and I think that some knitwear (real or not) would be the perfect present for friends or relatives. Ya estamos en Diciembre de nuevo, el mes más mágico del año, el más frío y al mismo tiempo el más caliente. En mi familia siempre lo hemos celebrado como la época más especial del año. El recuerdo que tengo desde pequeña es el olor de pino, naranja y canela, la chimenea encendida, luces, brillo en los ojos, nieve en la ventana, regalos debajo del arbol... Diciembre es algo que termina y algo que empieza. Es el més de la esperanza, la nostalgia y la alegría, de los reencuentros con viejos amigos, la vuelta al hogar, de las sorpresas y las ilusiones. Diciembre es eternidad.

En estos últimos años la Navidad se ha convertido en una fiesta más bien comercial, se ha perdido la esencia y el espíritu navideño. Lo que a mí me enseñaron de pequeña es que no es importante la cantidad y el precio de los regalos que vas a dar o recibir, si no el detalle, el cariño y el amor con los que están hechos. Por que muchas veces el valor que tiene un simple detallito vale mucho más que cualquier fortuna. Por que los regalos que se hacen desde el corazón duran para siempre...

It's Decembre again, the most magical time of the year, the coldest and the warmest at the same time. My family has always celebrated Chistmas holidays as the most special ones. When I think of December, what comes to my mind is the smell of pine, oranges and cinnamon, the heat of the fireplace, lights, sparkling eyes, snow on the window, presents under the tree... December is the beginning and the end. It's the month of hope, nostalgia and happiness, the month of dreams and surprises, meetings with old friends again, returns back home. December is eternity.

During the last years, it seems that Christmas has become a commercial holiday, we have lost the essence and the Christmas spirit. When I was a child, my family showed me that it's not important the price or the quantity of presents you are going to give or receive, what really matters is the attention, the care and the love with which they are made. Because sometimes little gifts have more value than most expensive things. Because presents that are made from the heart last forever...
